Summary

Reflection from God's Word:

          This morning we see the Apostle Paul emphasizing the importance of remembering when, writing to the Corinthian believers about the sacramental meal, he quotes the words of the Lord Jesus Christ, "Do this IN REMEMBRANCE OF ME." As we eat the bread and drink the cup, we are exercising the gift of remembrance.   We are, in fact, bringing to mind two great gifts: the atoning work of Jesus on our behalf and our faith and repentance in Him.
