TODAY'S REFLECTION FROM GOD'S WORD:   This morning we shall consider Elijah and the call of God to go to Zarephath. Tonight we shall look at five controversies between Jesus and the Pharisees.

WE WARMLY WELCOME those gathered today to worship together.   May our worship of the Lord God be in Spirit and in truth.

NO FELLOWSHIP LUNCHEON TODAY (MOTHER'S DAY).   The second Sunday pattern of luncheons will resume next month.

TUESDAY, 7:00-8:00 p.m.   MEN'S CLASS ON   PRESBYTERIAN ECCLESIOLOGY. These class sessions on will be completed with the June meeting.

WEDNESDAY, 7:00-8:30 p.m. PRAYER MEETING AND BIBLE STUDY.

NEXT WEEK:   SATURDAY, MAY 17 at 6:00 p.m.   GAME NIGHT at the church.   See Debbie Terwilliger for details.

PRAYER:   Please keep the following in prayer

Congregation: Continue to pray for allergy sufferers in the congregation; for parents, students, and teachers as the semester comes to an end.

Older members and Friends: Henry and Marie Holland, Gerda Roosma, Jack Weissert, Walter Wyld, Eileen Bourne.

OPC:   Pray for Faith OPC in (Pole Tavern NJ) and their Pastoral Search Committee .   Remember the work of the Middle East Reformed Fellowship.   Pray for funding for the Japan Mission as well as for the ministry of the Word in that land.   Pray for Bob Wright and for the completion of the Haiti guest house for the Hopps and visitors.   Pray that more might be called to serve in Suriname.
