Crossroads Addictions Ministry
Men’s Meeting at Grace OPC in Fair Lawn
C.A.M. values anonymity; involvement in this ministry is known only to its participants
WHAT TO EXPECT: The mission of Crossroads Addictions Ministry is to meet men and women where they are in their various addictions and hurts, and to disciple them to the place where Christ would have them be by pointing them to the freedom from bondage that the Gospel alone provides. This addictions ministry is a Bible-based and Christ-centered approach to recovery.
WHERE: In the Fellowship Hall at Grace Orthodox Presbyterian Church in Fair Lawn, Ryan Road at East Amsterdam Ave. See www.graceopcfairlawn.org for more information.
WHEN: The second and fourth Thursday night of the month from 7:30 to 9:00 PM.
WHY: The leadership of Grace OPC is mindful of the devastating effect addictions have on not only the individual but the family and our community, and how wide-spread and non-discriminating drug addiction particularly is in the twenty-first century. Pastor John Keegan’s own personal history as well as the training he received through the Christian Counseling & Education Foundation (CCEF) in conjunction with Westminster Theological Seminary, has providentially prepared him and given him the desire to come along side those who struggle with addictions.
WHO: No prior religious affiliation is required, only a desire for change and a willingness to receive help. Crossroads Addictions Ministry is for anyone who struggles to be free from destructive behavior such as alcohol and/or drug abuse, pornography, etc. At the present time we are offering Crossroads Addictions Ministry as a men’s meeting with the hope that a similar meeting for women might be started in the future. C.A.M. values anonymity; involvement in this ministry is known only to its participants.
